On This Day We Recall Our Happiest Day

Welcome guest Alexandra to day 4 of the Add Joy challenge. Let's get to it!

What does joy mean to you?

Joy to me is trying new things and creating new experiences and delighting in them. Joy to me means making room for the spontaneous, unpredictable moments and embracing the surprises of life.

How do you add joy to your life?

To add joy into my life, I like to write poems and reflections about joyful moments that take place in my day. I wrote about the Happiest Day of my life in my book Mental Health Reflections. This segues into the Joy Challenge I have for you.

Today’s Add Joy challenge

I call it The Happiest Day Challenge. There’s two ways you can go about it. You can write about the happiest day of your life that has already happened and remember as much as possible from it. Or you can also choose to write about what your ideal happiest day of your life would look like for you that has not happened yet. What do you want to happen and hope happens? What does a joyful day look like for you? Remember, your description and your answer deeply matters!

Pull out your journal, or note app and set your timer for seven minutes.

Thank you Alexandra. Tomorrow we will be at the halfway point. Can you believe it? Please feel free to share your happiest day in the comments below, or use the hashtag AddJoy on Threads.
